    I didn't dial your number
That was oh so easy to remember
I turned every picture of you backwards
I ignored your sweet text messages and
    Your nonchalant voicemails
I didn't dream of you when I took a nap
Drove everywhere but to your place
    Watched television
    Never seeing your face
I weened myself of a familiar pacifiying voice
Seen the seed of myself under a shell of tolerance
Washed my clothes freely in experience
That was dirty with broken heart residue on the sleeves
    I believed in change today
Saw sunshine through the rain today
I stopped loving you, stopped living you
And I stopped hurting over you today
    I prayed about everything
    That didn't involve relationships
Took trips to good food, good friends and good music
    I listened to songs
That didn't remind me of, we or us
Put my trust in the only one that has never hurt my feelings
    Meditated on loving myself today
I cleaned my desires of pain today
Cleared my direction to happiness today
I dressed to impress me today
My heart beat for me today
My mind thought for me today
And life had all of my attention
    I never mentioned you today
And tonight, when I laid down without you
I didn't cry for you or because of you
It was one of the best feelings I've had in a while
    Almost forgot how it felt
I figured out to care for myself today
    And you know what?
I think I'll do the same thing
    Tomorrow

When you can eradicate yourself of that person, truly, you're finally able to breathe again. You dotted every "i" and crossed every "t" here poet, make sure you do the same thing tomorrow, well done.
