Through the smoky denseness
I can feel your bluesy grip.
The smooth thump of your groove
eases into my body and I begin to sway.

No words are spoken
Yet I know exactly what you
are saying.
Your melody engulfs me
and works me into a frenzy.

I find myself doing a slow
sensual grind with my hips
to the rhythm you are giving me.

At the close of the night
I lay in my bed.
I still hear the sweet sounds
of earlier as I drift into sleep.
I dream jazz.

Like jazz, this piece conveyed that sensual, earthy feel. We should all have dreams such as these. Your word choice...just wonderful.
