the near north
I don’t walk the same walk
I walked before

There’s a limp in my step
And I’m slow with my stroll
My arms don’t dangle
Like they used to do
My chest is deflated
And my shoulders are low

I don’t walk the same walk
I walked before

There’s no bounce in my step
Coz my feet are sore
My sure-footedness is waning
So I take it a little slow
I don’t mind a dance step
Or a moment or two

I don’t walk the same walk
I walked before

My steps are shorter
And my movements are slow
Mr. Johnson don’t swing
To the left…as he did
Just hanging anywhere
As long as he’s hid

I don’t walk the same walk
That I walked before.

I don't walk da same
as i bend to da floor
i walk wit a hook
just take a look
i don't walk da same
anymore
body now new
no more speedy taps
now i walk maybe a lap
just ain't da same
but no need to be shame
many can't even claim
da same walk
not even talk
glad to be old !

hey Baller man i feel ya here coz it done happen to me
but my heart & mind is free to be just little ole me.......

Nope...I ain't admittin it..
I ain't old.......I'm 44 years young..
I may get an occasionally cramp..
but thats coz I haven't drank my milk regularly..
I may have a few gray strands..but its a small
price to pay for wisdom
nope I ain't old....I'm seasoned.

Baller...just some humor, there are a lot
of people I know my age...gone...
there are a lot of young people I know...gone
to appreciate life everyday no matter what
the age is truly living...thanx 4 sharing...
