I agree with you. I have said repeatedly that white folks are careless when they look after children... and I hope no one thinks I am racist. I live here in Barbados and only recently I was mentioning to a friend that the way white folks take care of their children leaves a lot to be desired. I have seen white tourist here in this country walking the streets with their six and eight year olds BEHIND them...parents are in front...someone can snatch them and they would not have a clue. I visited the mall a few months ago and when I was in the car park I saw a white couple going to the bank, their young children were behind them. Something is wrong with the way they bond with their children. For black folks it is different they are always holding tight on their children...not sure if this is a cultural thing.

    This is so tragic.

White people do that here in the N.O., too. But then, many black folks do that here, also. I don't know what it is that makes folk want to walk ahead of their babies like that.

As for dogs, I don't care much for them either as pets, with the exception of border collies, lol I guess as a child I always thought they looked the prettiest. But they need way more room and exercise than I could give 'em.

My manfriend has a pit...and it's a puppy right now, and it has puppy ways, but he's training it to be a killer, guard dog...You can't pet it and he won't let it close to you and keeps it in a small cage, big enough that it can turn around in...while being left in the garage....sometimes he'll take him for a walk.

Not all dogs are dangerous...and it's the owner that makes them like that.
Generally, dogs are much like their owner's personality.

    For example...

I had a cocker spaniel as a child, and I'm sure the dog would have turned out okay, but I abused it, threw it across the room, pounded it's paws with my fists, and hit it with pillows...and the vets called him a blonde rottweiler...he tried to attack everyone, except me...then one day he decided to try and attack my dad and that was it and they put my puppy to sleep :(

Wrong. I realize what you mean, and no, that's not my laziness. If you knew my life, then you could speak, but you don't, so you can't.

Ha! Dogs are man's best friend. They don't judge you, steal from you (except food), they are loyal and unlike people -they are always glad to see you!

This actually shows how true the explanation of the white people hold true today. When exiled to Europe they even tamed the wolf to be their hunting companion in the caves and mountains, these people instinctively trusted thier baby with a group of animals...
Sounds like a neaderthal move to me °Judge Greg Mathis Voice°
