I cant erase the past
I can only assure you that i learn from my mistakes
I cant change what was done before you
I can only say i will do whatever it takes
Just to let you know that now,
I am different, older, wiser and in love
With you i grew a conscience, a true heart
With you i wanted to make a new start
So why make me suffer
Give in to me please
I try over and over to justify things that i never figured would hurt you
seeing how i didnt know you
I do all that i can just to show you
I beg and plead
show my weakness and need
all for you
What more can i say
What more can i do
I can give you my word
I can give you my soul
I cant make you feel better about your insecurities
everything i have done before you has made me the person i am today
the person you say you love
So whay am i being punished for growing
There are many things i can do to prove my love
And some that i cant....but there are some things you should expect from me, and some things you shouldnt demand
After all, i am who i am

I think we've all asked...and thought these very same questions
but true love always prevails
and diligence in love...will break barriers
you never thought possible
even walls built around hearts...
