because of your love I’ve mastered new math
and have not strayed from the chosen path
now knowing where to plant my feet
while dancing to your drummer’s beat

full moon is high in the sky
and i no longer wonder why
i feel love the way i do
it is all because of you and your crew

for you are my private melody
that offers joy and peace readily
making love and poetry the perfect blend
my heart in one hand the other your pen
