I asked God for strength that I might achieve...I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey...

I asked God for health that I might do greater things...I was given infirmity that I might do better things...

I asked for riches that I might be happy...I was given poverty that I might be wise...

I asked for power that I might have the praise of men...I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God...

I asked for all things that I might enjoy life...I was given life that I might enjoy all things...

I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost, despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.

I am, among all men, most richly blessed...

This is very beautiful, and very powerful! It expresses truth and the wise will understand it. :)

The Father knows exactly what we need, and always gives us just that because He is wise beyond our understanding. And He is merciful beyond our comprehension.

Some may not get it, but the thing which seems like we should go away from for our preservation, is what He brings us to for His love.

Just as the Holy Anointed Son went toward the sacrifice of His body for our sins, so that we may have salvation, and to many that would seem insane, it was for our redemption out of the Father's love for His creation.

And after His sacrifice on the tree, He was resurrected to life eternal, which is promised to all the faithful of the Father and the Son. In holy works, belief, and faith, we have no need to worry that the thing which hurts our physical body would destroy us, for we are in the Father's Hand and can't be taken from therein, as the Son has taught us. Blessings!
