I am a uniqueness a sight to behold
I wonder if you can see my dreams
That are as pure as gold?
I hear the sweet rhapsody of the music and the rhyme
I see my expressions in the mirror
The smile as old as time.
I want the wisdom that comes with age
    The specialty of me
I am what I am; I am what you see.
I pretend to be no other
I feel the pain of my tortured brother.
I can smell the magic in the air
    I cry because I care.
I rejoice when I’m happy, can’t be sad cause I’m free
I am what I am; I am what you see.
I understand your struggle to belong
I say nothing about the pain in your song.
I dream of a life without hatred or pain
I can live without the anger for I have nothing to gain.
I hope that others like me, I hope that they can see
I am what I am; I am what you see
