    Born unto a black woman
    Who swallowed poverty?
Wanting a future for her children
    So she buckled down
    To begat them a future
    Amidst the America
    Where they used the Caribbean
    To divide northern blacks

    When her little child
    Felt trapped under a man
    Could not know
That this fate would offend her mother
So she quieted her mouth to see whom the enemy
    And she tolerated penetration
Remembering the place of black women
    When slavery began and deepened

Being plucked from the jaws of silence
Where everywhere she turned black men
Wanted to penetrate her child temple
She found it hard to hate white people
Cause of the brown hands that touched her
Yet she felt those brown hands came through colonial hands
How plantations made it easy for her to be penetrated

When father joined the hands of touching
Making steps to create a child made into prostitute
    The absolute hate went within
Growing into one who could not imagine her child
In a world who hated her existence
My seed could not come forth

I am the Negro woman castrated
Where black men want to touch me
Not knowing I should be loved
They do not want to wife me
    And now in awareness
I want to get out of this niggerized state
    Demanding Black self respect
    Above and beyond white supremacy
Must embrace all that I am

    Teach black women
They are more than an enslaved history
    Teach black children
That they are worthy of life
That black children have a right to be here
That black children are worthy of protection
That she is worthy to close her legs
That no man needs to enter her except her mate
That she is worthy to be whole

    I am that Negro woman
Who woke up a black woman
Told her black man if she could not be his wife
    She cannot be his lover
    Stopping the cycle
    Releasing her hate of self
Giving birth to black self respect

    Black Man
I just want you to love me
like I am deserving of it
For every time you reject the glory of me
By doing evil unto my temple
You take away one of my lives
help me instead to rebirth myself

    thanks Tantrum
