The history of Black Americans is a history fraught with subjugation to white superiority complexes and a continued upheaval of any institutions we build. Following the end of slavery, it made perfect sense that we would invest in America's dream of freedom and prosperity. We did not have the finances nor the understanding of African tribal politics to thrive without making great moral sacrifices in the process(Liberia and Sierra Leonne are Perfect examples). There were moments of hope for expatriation through the Marcus Garvey Pan-African movement, the Black Hebrew movements, and the movement to West Africa through the American Colonial Society, but ultimately each was unsuccessful in their own ways. The majority of the history of Black America is a history of being trapped in America and using what little resources we had to do what we can.

In this time, we have built great cities and art that is desired across America. We have created millionaires and billionaires, top athletes, and a beauty standard that white Americans can only steal. The best food is Black American cuisine, the most emulated language is AAVE. Our Men are known as the strongest, all white women want to look like our women, and every civil rights movement is led by black faces. We contribute 2 trillion to the U.S economy, despite being only 13% of the population. In short, Black culture is dominant, mainstream culture. Yet, the last person to profit off the black body is the Black person themself. We are the most educated, culturally pluralistic, and wealthiest Black generation, confident in our ability to build our own institutions. Yet, we are simultaneously the most cynical of existing white institutions. We understand how much gatekeeping these schools, these businesses, these firms, these political positions have for descendants of slaves and the stigma it provides, so we create our own. Despite four centuries of set back, we have lawyers, doctors, cooks. We have business owners, politicians, and teachers. We have artists who turn the scraps we were given and turn it into gold. We penetrate every sector of this economy, so what do we need this country for?

If we are a generation that is most confident in our ability to build institutions, yet cynical of existing white institutions, why have the middle man at all? Why stop at Black business; we know white folks can buy us out or run us out. Why stop at a town or city; the Tulsa Massacre proved that not enough. These State governments and Federal governments will not protect us, so we have to protect ourselves. We need to protect our glorious culture, our rich economics, and our scarce politics. We must maintain the monopoly on these things. There is a name for an institution that does this. It is called a Nation...(Part 1)

can't have a nation if it cannot defend itself.....
Defense requires two elements. The first is resources to keep us alive. As previously mentioned, we bring over a trillion dollars of revenue to this nation. We produce high-quality goods regardless of whether white folks want to buy them. No one can deny that we can feed ourselves and we can support ourselves, which leads to the next element.
Defense requires weapons, and more Black Americans are beginning to arm themselves because we understand that if we do not protect each other who will. The NFAC association makes it their goal to be armed and ready at every protest they attend. There is a Black NRA and Black guns clubs all over the country. This includes more than Black people owning guns, but black martial arts, and black neighborhood watches.
Becoming trapped in this nation has rendered us subject to the whims of the police and the state/federal governments. When has that ever benefited us. We can no longer rely on this police state to serve our best interests. We must mobilize with our weapons of self-defense and protect ourselves.
