I am a woman
And you are a man
To compare the two
Is devestating
Between the sexes
We were created so spiritual
I am a woman
I cry
My emotions take over before I know it
And I'm attached to you
Like liquor to an alcoholic
Drinker
As I drink you up
As you pour into me
Drip
drip
drop
I feel you so vivrantly
And am drowning
Into a pool of lovely equisitic erotic euphoric
I am in insecurity
I am a woman
And in this world I have no home
This is a man's world
And my heart has been torn
From my birth
I've been trying to find out the meaning of my life
I've been trying to figure out if pain and strife
All I will endure
And never know the freedom
And protection
And love's knocking at my door
I am woman
But I feel so much pain
I am not always confident
And because of it tend to do certain things
I tend to enjoy the attention
As starring eyes engage in me
And I am tempted
To lure those eyes
Because they yearn
And I am woman
I feel depth
I feel warmth
I am a protector
I am a comforter
I am a mother
I am a daughter
I am a teacher
I am a queen
I am the giver of life
I am special
I am pretty
I am intelligent
I am strong
I have pride
I am a woman
And you are a man
To compare me
To you
Would be a dangerous thing
I am signifigance
I am worth a human being
I am a woman
Do you remember me?
I am woman
Collecting my thoughts
And in my shoes
You can not walk
For I have been through it all before
And I am a soldier
Throughout
Embarrasing moments
Verbal abuse
I reign victorious
Although you tried to tear me down
I am a woman
That you let down
I am woman
That you see everyday
I am your sister
I am your friend
I am a daddy's girl
I am your wife
And I am a princess
I have a sweet sexuality
Not to be mixed up with
Whorish activity
I am beautiful
I am triumphant
I am a woman
