Hey Family ... have yall seen this hurricane Dennis out there?

It looks like it's come'n skrate for Mobile ... but its path is broad ... stretching across 4 states.

Mobile is where (they say) the last slave ship docked and unloaded my Ancestors. I'm thinking of Brother 7thPoet's poem and how if this is the Breath of My Ancestors i hope i can turn my face to it ... stretch out my arms ... and feel the embrace of the winds as they blow on me, past me, toward those things which are their target.

    Let the winds blow.

    Gods Will be done.

    Hey Destee!

Never seen a hurry cane. Sounds like a walking stick to help you get around faster:smile:

But I've been through two major earthquakes in CA. Reckin my ancestors were just trying to shake me out of my sleep over there in La La Land.

Now I'm in the driveway of Tornado Alley as they call this little one-horse Texas town. Wonder why all the ados are torn. You never hear about intact ados--just the torn ados.

There's really nowhere we can go where there's not something. We live on a violent planet.

Wow, I didn't realize this storm was so close to home for you, Destee! Please evacuate as soon as possible, because this hurricane aint taking any names, just numbers...

150mph winds!!!!!! Frightening in not the word... My prayers are with you, the family, and your community - just get your body and your children out of the way of this thing!!!!

    Peace!
    Isaiah
