Black People Politics : How To Please Black People While Working For White People - The Challenge of the Black Politician

A quote from Booker T Washington

“There is another class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public,” Washington said early in the 20th century. “Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising [the] wrongs – partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

Again, can't our people congregate anywhere without some devil interjecting with the "all white people aren't like that" liberal drivel? This new victimhood mentality that white men harbor is only indicative of something they'll only vaguely admit: their time is up, their system is failing and they have always been the minority on this planet and are the last to arrive to civilization.

In response to the original thread, it's impossible to be a Black politician in this era, for it's a position of accommodation. You have to be charismatic enough to keep Black constituents at bay and coonish enough to buckdance for the white folks to keep those dollars trickling in.

Gone are Black politicians that aren't afraid of their Blackness like Rev. Adam Clayton Powell,Barbara Jordan,Shirley Chisholm, John Mercer Langston and Hiram Revels.

It seems you are not in the know. Or have a short grip on current events. Or possibly the media coverage just didn't get to where you are. A black state rep using racial slurs against a white senator just isn't popular news with the liberal media and their agenda.

But here you go.

Bobby Rush is not afraid of his blackness. Or even afraid of racial slurs

To the white man,

Racism is not only the belief in genetic superiority of one race over another, but it's the institutionalized power to inflict this belief upon others. Nothing a Black politician says today will affect any white person's life in economics, education, housing or politics.

However, it's devils like your(workingwhitemans) ancestors that nearly fell over each other to get tickets to witness the lynching of a Black man or woman. It was your ancestors that destroyed Tasmania, colonized the land(Afrika)making it a "continent", have always been the last to arrive to civilization and have lied about your entire history.

In a way, you can't be blamed. You emanate from a people that started walking upright just two hundred years ago when you left the caves and decided to imitate the glorious Kingdoms of men and women of color.

Instead of posting here, maybe your efforts would be better served at figuring out why your race is reproducing less annually, why your greatest heroes(Ceasar,George Washington, Nero) were a lil sweet and why your history is vast enough to fill but a pamphlet when one performs the true research.

Your logic would work well on the ShaQuaQuas and Tyrells of the world, but not on Nubian men and women that have a knowledge of self and understand that their place is to rule.

Perhaps you needed to spend more time in your cave. Beasts that usually experience sunlight for the first time are privy to hallucination and schizophrenia.
