Indeed, but what are parents speaking and teaching their children? Speaking isn't enough. One's actions and practices are fundamental to a child's development. It starts in the home. I agree fully with the brother's conclusions. As the Brother points out, we are not taught these kinds of "knowledge of self" as the basis in the west. We only have to look around to witness that the majority of us are functioning from the lowest levels. So we ought to be knowledging ourselves and applying the knowledge before we can correctly knowledge and positively impact our children.
