HOW JEWS STOLE ALL THE EGYPTIAN STORIES
ISAAC & OSIRIS
Isaac name was originally connected to Osiris but was changed when Jews wanted to stir partially away from the Egyptian religion. We already know that Isaac sons Jacob and Esau correspond to Horus and Set. When the bible says that Jacob wrestled with a stranger (Genesis 32:24-33:1) it’s just a corrupted account of the daily struggle between Horus & Set, a battle between the forces of day and night. We also have Jacob dreaming about a ladder to heaven (Genesis 28:10-19) taken from scenes deriving from Egyptian 3rd millennium BC pyramids that describe funerary rituals for the deceased kings.
JACOB CHEATED ESAU OUT OF HIS BIRTHRIGHT (Genesis 27:1-41)
Are also stories adapted from an Egyptian tale about how Isis, mother of Horus and brother of Set, tricked Set into giving up his challenge to Horus for the throne by putting semen in a bowl of porridge making it seem set/Jacob was sodomized. During the night, while Horus is asleep, Set manages to sodomize his rival Horus which of proven would cause the gods to favor Set over Horus. When horus realizes what has happened he goes to his mother Isis for help. Isis purges her son of Set’s semen and then secretly places Horus’s semen in Set’s food in a bowl of porridge. Thoth examines the two in finds set with Horus semen and declares Horus as the legitimate King. Genesis tells the same story between Jacob and Esau in a disjointed and highly disguised form. The original Egyptian account was too strong for the Genesis author: The Hebrew priests could not allow Jacob to be humiliated by Esau in such a horrible fashion. An alternative story with a similar plot had to be substituted ad the story of Dinah’s rape (Jacob/Horus) by Hamor (Set/Esau) filled the requirement.
JACOB & ESAU FOUGHT IN THE WOMB (Genesis 25:21-28)
Jacob & Esau corresponded to the Egyptian gods Horus & Set, who struggled in the womb and fought over who would become the leader of the nation. Jacob’s wrestling match is nothing more than a corrupted account of the original daily struggles between Set and Horus the elder. But why did this lead to the name change from Jacob to Israel? (Isis-Ra-el). Jacob changing his name to Israel corresponds to the merger of the three Horus deities into a single personality like Horus the child, Horus the elder and the other slips me right now.
A change of name suggest a form of rebirth. In connection with the name change Jacob suffered an injury to his leg that left him with a permanent limp. In Plutarch’s story of Osiris, we note that after Set & Horus made peace, Osiris temporarily returned from the dead to father a child with Isis. This was Horus the child, and he was born lame in the leg. Jacobs name change represents birth and death. When Jacob died and became Osiris who climbed a ladder to heaven, while the changing of his name to Israel signified the substitution of a new Horus for the deceased Jacob. All Egyptian kings were Horus when alive but become Osiris when dead.
The laming of Jacob also occurs in the context of peace between Horus and Set. Initially, Jacob represents Horus the son of Isis. When he wrestles with the stranger he represents Horus the Elder. When peace arrives he receives a new name, a rebirth, and in his lame condition becomes Horus the child. In describing the wrestling incident as a throwback to the earlier daily battles between Horus and Set, another point to consider is that Jacob and Esau each have 12 sons. The ancient Egyptians divided the day into 24 hours/parts, a 12 day portions and 12 night portions, giving us what eventually became the 24 hour day. Therefore, the 12 sons an each family may represent the 12 parts of day and the 12 parts of night.
OTHER ASPECTS OF ISAAC & OSIRIS
This is the story of Isaac who is symbolic of Osiris. He was bound to an altar for the purpose of becoming a burnt sacrifice. Abraham approached carrying both fire and a knife. Prior to setting the wood (cross) aflame, Abraham was ready to slay Isaac. (note, also that in traditional Jewish slaughter one slits the throat, in effect separating head from body). God stopped Abraham’s act at the last moment, suddenly a ram appeared (As a substitute like Simon of Cyrene) and Abraham placed the ram in the fire. In sum, Isaac, like Osiris and the deceased Egyptian kings in imitation of Osiris, was about to have his head severed from his body and his body passed through the fire.
The sacrifice of Isaac was derived from a ritual reenactment of Egyptian funerary services which identified the deceased with Osiris. One of the most sacred animals in ancient Egypt was the ram which was the ba/soul of Osiris. After death the ba of the deceased visits the tomb where the body lay. In the Isaac story, the Ram, Osiris ba, appears at the altar where the deceased is laid out. As the soul of Isaac (Osiris), it replaces (substitutes) Isaac on the funeral pyre.
