I believe this is an amazing experience for all black people, but when I witness the overflow of emotions displayed by older black men and women who felt the straight full blow of racism it makes this election moment more amazing! Definitely a memorable moment and if Barack wins there is more to come.

    How do you feel?

I just think people are overrating the significance behind it....I mean off the top of my head I can think of things in the past and present that are of greater importance than Obama winning the presidency.......Yes it will put a smile on our faces, but...........that's about it.

With all do respect, I am not understanding you brotha's at all...Rather disapointed in fact.

Do you not realize that we were not even able to cast a vote at one point? I usually dont like to step outside of myself to confront folks...but, I am gravely concerned about your lack of support for this brotha, or for the election at all.

Here we are, black family here at destee, and at the **** top of top of the page, it clearly states the mission of this forum. To support, and encourage one another...and yall can't even support your own brother to run for president?

That tells me, that if you dont support him, than you certainly wont support me as your sister, and I wonder how many otha folks you dont support.

I would suggest taking a longgg hard look in the mirror. To not support this race, is to NOT support the blood shed and injustice for African Americans.
Personally, If I had your opinion, I would have kept it to myself.
