if someone on here is black or not? just by that they tell you? or something else?
Froggy ... Hello and Welcome ...
We don't really know, even if they say they are.
Some Members have met each other in person, and they know.
But we can never really know if someone is Black, White, Male, Female, Young or Old.
Sometimes, one's words might convey a glimpse into these things, but a person can compose their responses to convey that very message ... with it never being the truth.
Thus ... we rarely ever "know" ... but i will trust whatever someone says they are.
Ohhhh ... i just thought ... we have voice and video chat now!
We've even seen some of our Members here ... right on cam!
So we can know ... i reckon!
have you ever noticed that little light blink on your key board?
o alright thanks you two and didnt you already welcome me?
I don't know if i did or not ... so just to be on the safe side, i did it again ...
o ok i understand thanks
I have a 6th sense about these things....can smell pork & wet dog a mile away! However just in case anyone was wondering...I'm black, and can prove it!
Pan is right. There is a 6th sense about it...and besides, what don't come out in the wash comes out in the rinse.
Pan...pork and wet dog? LOL LOL, I don't believe that you said that...nah, actually, I do... And Keita, that saying about the wash and the rinse... my grandmother used to say that all the time, and yes, there's truth to it.
But when it all comes down to it, it's like Destee said, you go by what folks say, and hope they're telling the truth. With all the other things there are to worry about, guess you'd go crazy constantly wondering if folks are lying bout that or not.
Good question froggy.
