Raise better children
That is an acquired skill. How does one do that if they dont have the knowledge passed down to them from their parents? Typically its the children that had bad parenting that cause most of the violence.
I assume you mean Black on Black homicides?
It was passed down. We stopped listening. Then dump them on the grands
I dont know your background but I grew up in the hood and I can assure you it was not passed down in all cases. The other question is why did kids stop listening? What were they being told that didnt work anymore for that generation?
So did I. Plus I founded mentoring programs. I have witnessed what I speak.
Thats great. I commend you on being a man of action. So in your experience you found that the kids that were doing the killing were raised correctly but they revolted? Did they tell you why the teachings were unable to keep them on the right path and respect other Black life?
If you ask questions via unbiased viewpoints also that will lead to more candid and honest answers!!
No, they were abandoned by people who didn't bother and wouldn't listen to their elders. When you see the number of kids sent to school with no home training. This started in the 80s and grew geometrically. No one has the guts to go into the home and try to solve the problem
