How much does it cost to get to Africa?
Are there layovers when leaving from the midwest? Do I have to go the coast first?
When you leave, can you get cheaper tickets if you have someone to accompany you or maybe a group rate?

Never ben but plan to go and

Going to any nation in the continent, other then Kemet which one can get a not too expensive package to because of it being the largest tourist atraction in the world,

one should plan at least 2 to 3 years in advance, in lieu of todays economy.

If you are tall you will need good seats with good leg room cause the flight can be 18 to 20 hours, and cost from 1600 each way depending on season.

Then there are the pills and shots that are needed.

Research the nation that one plans to visit real good, and use or try to use Black or African acredited travel agencies in your city.
Also enquire at your local Black book store as to what scholars will be visiting the community or university there, and see if they will be doing educational tours there.
That can be much cheaper, but it epends if one likes to travel with an escorted group or if one is adventurous and likes to be independant.
