Because of the white man, many of the movie theaters in our communities are trash. And play houses are hard to get to. How can we create both of these entities so we can educate each other through entertainment?

Hi, you raise a very good point about the Black community having our own movie theaters.

Movie theaters are dead.. HDTV, DVDs and Internet content has ended the reign of Movie theaters.. at least in their traditional sense.. with their $2 candy bars and $5 popcorn.. Speakeasy theaters and Art-house theaters are the new wave.. with real food and alcohol and comfortable seating.. So any theater hoping to survive in todays climate needs to understand how the game has changed.. Black or not.. But if you think about it in a functional sense, we dont need theaters.. we need content.

Theaters used to be necessary to get access to the content of the film.. but thats no longer the case.. we can access film content on our home TVs.. our phones.. in our cars.. etc.. it's now a matter of creating quality content. .. and also.. a very big matter of defining this, so-called "community".. surely "black" is not enough to cement the folks you mean by that together..
