    How Can We Justify?

    Can you tell me why?
    With so much pain
    How we can justify
Without shaking our heads in disdain
Sitting here doing nothing each and every day
    Crying in the falling rain
Well this is what I have to say
The world is bleeding and dying each and every moment
    Claiming “we’re defending democracy”
What happened to protecting the victims?
Each person is slowly losing their freedom
Because we’re abusive and we neglect, see the symptoms
Can you see what the true issue is?
Perhaps I’ve never experienced a lot of pain
But I can feel pain just by opening my eyes
Thinking about others, using my brain
Using my ears hearing painful cries
Do you realize what we’ve done?
I’m ashamed to see the news
Look at the corpses and the destruction
We’re turning into savages, I’m not amused
I have so much anger for what we’ve done
Starting a war that’s not making a difference
Except I have this feeling it’s just begun
I wish we could see peace and goodness
Spending billions of dollars, a very large sum
It’s just starting to get ridiculous
So please, stand up for what’s right
Open up and see toward the light

Fighting each other, only sends us ten paces back, not forward. High time for unity.

    you know they can

the guv can justify anything they do. their methodologies and agendas far surpass what we can muster. after all the movies, imagination, and songs about freedom, justice, and equality... one must awake to the true atrocities of their own decisions and choose sides. "What side are you on?" -Tupac Shakur (one of his last statements)

peeping out the reality of what we have and are doing to bring each other down, is a giant step to start
toward the light of many changes...^5
