Excellent thread and post Miss Destee and Hermetic. Being frank and aware of a Black who rants and raves about every so-called wrongdoing Whites commit historically in a personal and/or institutional basis is a deeply disturbing red flag for our race. I say this because those very same Blacks are still working for the White man, dying in the White mans military wars, buying everything they eat, drink, wear, own and drive from the White man and just generally existing in the White mans world of established business, commerce and banking. Well there just might be a Black American somewhere who lives exclusively on Black owned entities.

You know, like this example:

Are you referring to me AGAIN, white boy. Your superiority complex gives you the choice to disregard what a Black woman say.

Make your stupid post references without referring to me, PLEASE.
I DONT CARE FOR YOUR KIND.

BTW, I don’t rant and rave about the wrongs of your race. I just tell the truth.

back on ignore. I be watching you.

The problem the Native Americans had was that the various tribes did not work to protect each other until it was too late. This is the same problem that practically every other colonized place experienced from the Americas to Africa. If we set back and allow what plans the present leaders have to play out without opposing at least parts of it, once they are done with them they will then turn their sights on us.

We have to remember that their true focus is on making sure the US remains a majority White nation. If you look at their actions through that lens, you will see why they are so focused on certain issues like abortion (white women are not having enough babies) and immigration (Too many people of color entering the country). The true danger to White supremacy is population demographics. If it changes enough, then another group will have the numbers to create a majority. They deathly fear that those who end up outnumbering them will do to them, what they have done to others.

So in the end, though I know most of the time other ethnic groups rarely come to our aid, I still feel the need to make sure that I give some aid to them. We have to look at the whole picture, and understand that keeping a present buffer between us and the White Supremacists in power in the long run works to our benefit until we can eject them out of power.

Hi Hermetic ... :)

Thanks for sharing with me ... :swings:

I agree with all that you have said. I think I'm much too jaded ...

Yes, we should ban together, do all we can to change / stop what is a historical effort against people of color.

Even though I am jaded, I continue this effort ... 20+ years now ... in hopes that we will at least come together respectfully, begin substantive dialogue that leads to positive change, present a united front and example of helping and respecting each other. I have put much into this, and continue to do so ... yet here I stand in this moment ... disillusioned ... :shame:

As you said, Native Americans did not work together, and nor do we (Black People) in ways that save our own babies from cruel death.

Imagine, I am this jaded and have never lost a child of my own, but my heart breaks for others. It is as if they are my own.

I don't want to be jaded. I want to be hopeful. I want to believe we can overcome this, but it's been so long, so many deaths, so much cruelty against us and others with darker skin (by us and others).

We can put our hope in having greater numbers than them, but I would not be surprised if world-wide we already have those numbers and they are not yielding us world-wide success. I suppose when the numbers in America are to our advantage things will be different. But what of Africa, certainly the numbers there are in our favor, but the images are painful.

I do appreciate your encouragement, for I truly need it.

I suppose we must take our successes where we find them.

And I have found one here, with you ... :flowers:

Thank you for trying to encourage me, for I want to be encouraged. I want my heart not filled with the pain of my own people's losses, so I can fully empathize with others. I want us to have our own successes, so that those going through like challenges can truly be encouraged by our help. How can they be, when our babies are dying, but we want to advise them on how to keep theirs alive. Yes, I'm very jaded right now. Hopefully this will not last always.

If you have more encouraging words, please do share them! :injured:

Thank you Hermetic ...

Much Love and Peace.

To remember my past, and feel through my own past, their pain of having their children ripped from them.

I know my history. A history that I will not allow to take away my empathy and love for other Black and Brown people. I am not willing to allow my horrible history to pervert my emotions. I have that control.

I see our men being shot in the streets. I’ve lost two family members to police shooting, and one to prison slavery. I’m still not so jaded I can’t love other Black and brown people. My past history will not define all of me. I won’t let it.

I have nothing against brown people.
I can write this easily speaking of Black and Brown people.
Not so sure about white peoples. Don’t care for them
I’m not so sure I could feel for white peoples.

Sister Destee, I started a thread about the kidnapped Brown people. If it offends you in any way please delete it.

I kinda thought you were kidding when you posted in that thread.
You were not.

How do you care about others considering our history.
That’s why I/we care, because of our history.
Native Americans and Mexicans have been warring since the 1800s.
America stole half their land.

I choose to care for my Brown friends of other cultures.
White folk are not my friend.

Hi Sister IFE ... thank you for the encouragement ...

I am not against any people. I don't have anything against anyone in general.

This thread isn't meant to suggest that I do.

It is talking more about my own personal challenge.

It's sort of like, if your house is on fire with babies inside. You're scrambling to get them out.

Then your neighbor's house catches fire.

Do you stop trying to save your babies in your house, to run into the neighbor's house to save their babies?

That is sort of what I'm saying ... our babies are certainly dying.

How do we take our eyes off of them, to save the babies next door.

It's not that I do not love the babies next door and want them to live, of course I do.

This is the crux of the challenge inside myself.

Can you give me a link to the brown black people thread you're referencing?

I'm not sure what I said in it. I'd imagine I meant what I said, unless there is an LOL or something attached.

I'd love to read and review it. If I did not fuss about it when I first saw it, I certainly won't remove it now.

Love You Sister!

Well there just might be a Black American somewhere who lives exclusively on Black owned entities.

You know, like this example:

1. I have zero White friends, co-workers, associates or any others I would need to depend on in a social setting.
2. I only go to Black hospitals with 100% Black doctors, nurses and ancillary support staff via Black ambulances with Black medics.
3. If and when I ever need the po po I will call the nearest Black only police department and more so if me or my own are found guilty of trumped up White court charges I demand to serve my time in a Black prison where i'll get like 13 cents a day for making FUBU clothing.
4. If I ever feel the need to be charitable I'll only donate my blood with the written stipulation that my Black blood only courses through Black veins in need.
4. I will continue in my conscience will and single minded determination to vote for only Black politicians. Hmmm, did I say that? Well I must've not only said that but meant it too which means I never voted for any presidential candidate before former President Barack Obama.
5. Reserved for other nickel and dime BS I can come up with in my delusional existence.

The Queen can afford to say such. She's a billionaire.

Hi Symbol of America ... what are you talking about ... :look: ... :)

You've lost me.

What black person are you referencing that says this stuff and what does it have to do with this subject?

I'm just not following, but I want to ...

I'm sure you have something profound within this post that I'm missing and I want to get it ...

I've never heard Oprah say such things and if she did, it would probably not be true.

Sister IFE ... he did not say your name or quote your post.

Plus ... you cannot call folk names, it is a rule violation ... so please don't do that.

learn to keep it steppin.

Brother James ... thank you ... :)

Can I get a bit more detail?

Keep stepping in the same conflicted manner I'm moving, thinking how can I possibly help another with their baby when my baby is dying?

Or, keep it stepping toward trying to figure out how to do both at the same time?

Or, some other different stepping that I need to do?! :)

Respectfully requesting more of your wisdom please ...

Love You!

ever been in a combat situation? (if not go look at the movie 'dunkirk' or 'red tails')

lets say u in a foxhole. yr buddies in another foxhole on yr right. somebody else is in a foxhole on yr left.
the enemy is advancing on yr position. a mortar round takes out the foxhole on yr right.
do u stop firing because yr buddies in that foxhole just got killed ???? the enemy is still advancing on u.
do u morn for yr comrades who got taken out ??? no, u keep aiming and firing.

in a combat situation if u get all upset every time somebody gets killed u will not b able to win.

we r in a combat situation. there will b casualties.
u keep yr head up u keep yr eyes on the target and u keep firing.

in other words, u keep it stepin.:snapoutofit:

War is an apt metaphor James. We've all seen and had brothers, fathers and mothers fall in our centuries long battle.
It's okay, perhaps even good to feel the pain of war in it''s wide breath of scope and to keep in sight the end goals yet to be achieved. But one simply must, must hold ones own ground first and fore most.
Keep on keeping on. It is a war........
