Why you hurt me this way
    I gave you my feeling
    Before sharing my heart
    I shared my heart
    And now
You know longer care like before
It is like you got what you wanted
    Or so you thought
So were you playing a part?
    A role
    You woe my heart
    Was it make believe
    Was it a scene?
    That you script,
    Flipping the pages
    Then re-writing it

    Got my mind twisted
    Heart in a knot
    Why I ask
    Why
Did you hurt me this way?
    Heart now crying
    Can you hear the sigh?
    Sound like broken glass
Tears that spills from my eyes
Are the shatter pieces of me
    Now just splitters
    So little is left within
    So hurt I am
No longer do I have the interest
    Of mending this heart again
How can I ever trust myself
    to love again?

    been there....
    this was a heartfelt piece...
but u and me both know
    time heals most wounds...
or else the human race would be enshrined in tombs...
    one love

As the other poets have said, I've been down this road, sometimes, without even meaning to go that way. You will love again, it takes time, and faith. Emotively flowed.

    oh sister...
    I'm relating...
    this kind of experience
    is so traumatic...
    and trust just dissolves
    from that point forward...
    this was a deep reflection...
