tell me how a woman can endure so much in so little time
waiting for love when lust lives in the mind
tell me how a woman can close her eyes while trying to surrive
waitin for a man to change is like waitin for jesus to arrive

tell me how a woman can stay true to love when its not given in return
waitin for it to be given will only hurt u when the table turns
tell me how a woman can be so ignorant to the fact that its not meant to be
crying urself to sleep when ur the one who doesnt deserve the penalty

tell me how a woman can drive herself crazy over worthless meaning
peace of mind will only come if you live in reality n stop dreaming
tell me how a woman can let a good man pass her
they step to her and she says no before they even ask her

tell me how a woman can forget her true identity in the process
letting a man tell you what to wear and how to rock it
tell me how a woman can take the beatings and accept the anger
risking her and her child's life living in the arms of danger

tell me how a woman can hide the scars that are deeply hidden
ignoring all the thoughts the are deeply digging
tell me how a woman can let the situation take over her state of mind
if you dont let some things go, they will esculate thru time

how can a woman like you take these things...
