Black People : How being black and being racist is self defeatism.

Ok....why don't we go about this a different way? Give me SPECIFIC examples of what certain individual Blacks do or have done that you would deem "racist"?

My thread was inspired by one of my older freinds. I had a short conversation with him and he claimed that he had a court date.I asked why,he said for beating on a white boy.I asked him why did he beat on that white boy,he said because he hated white folks. He said he was not threatened by the boy,he just walked up on him and started to kick his ***. Sadly,my old freind calls those actions "gangsta."

Well...ok....I'm not condoning your friend's approach to dealing with his anger...especially since there seemed to have been no immediate threat. However, I'm not sure I'd classify his actions as racist because he attacked an individual; I can assure you that his actions would have to have far greater implications for the white/nonblack collective in order for them to be racist in the truest sense of the word. His conduct was improper but was still a reaction to being a victim of nonblack 'supremacy' of which the white boy was a convenient icon. You inquired about his attack on the boy, but did you ever bother to ask him why he was angry at white people in general??
