Black People : House formally apologizes for slavery and Jim Crow

WASHINGTON - The House on Tuesday issued an unprecedented apology to black Americans for the wrongs committed against them and their ancestors who suffered under slavery and Jim Crow segregation laws.

"Today represents a milestone in our nation's efforts to remedy the ills of our past," said Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, D-Mich., chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus.

The resolution, passed by voice vote, was the work of Tennessee Democrat Steve Cohen, the only white lawmaker to represent a majority black district. Cohen faces a formidable black challenger in a primary face-off next week.

Congress has issued apologies before — to Japanese-Americans for their internment during World War II and to native Hawaiians for the overthrow of the Hawaiian kingdom in 1893. In 2005, the Senate apologized for failing to pass anti-lynching laws.

Looks like they're gearing up for the presidential pardon. I suspect the only branch left to apologize will be the executive. So here comes Mr. Obama...giving a pardon to all of the white people who enslaved the non-white people and apologizing to all of the non-white people for it. There goes your reparations.

The smartest and most powerful white people are really smart. Smart enough to have a non-white person apologizing to other non-white people for the hideous crimes inflicted on non-white people by the white people who practice racism (white supremacy).

Is this against Mr. Obama? Hell no! Even when he's president he ain't gonna be running nothing except what they allow him to run. So don't blame Mr. Obama if you don't get no reparations. Don't blame Mr. Obama if you don't get whatever it is you think you should get while he's in what is called the oval office. Just concentrate on getting him there...but know that if he gets there the smartest and most powerful white people already have a plan for him that he is not aware of. That's how they operate. So don't blame Mr. Obama.

If you want to blame somebody you blame yourself for not replacing the SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy) with a SYSTEM of justice. If the SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy) did not exist, Mr. Obama being the president wouldn't even have been an issue.

It appears the WS/R have tested the water, and know that there exists a component of non-white victims who will accept this apology and suggest to them that it really wasn't necessary.
The Connerly's, Steele's, and their ilk are part of the planning behind such a bland and toothless utterance. The apology a rapist makes to his victim before being carted off to prison for decades, does not replace the sentence. Here in amerikkka, the smartest and most violent have determined that the rules dont' apply, the apology in this instance removes the urgency of reparations.
Curiously, we get to see in action the means the racist have always used against us, divide and reward. Interestingly, there will be reparations and they will end up in the bank accounts of those nonwhites, who most vociferously argued against them!
