I would just like to say that for the record, I do not agree that men who are so called feminine acting prefer sex with the same sex and vise versa for the women who are male acting. I would also like to say that I am from the school that who we prefer to screw or who we are attracted to has nothing to do with our gender nor the roles that we play based on our sexual organs and what roles and how society assigns roles based on sexual organs.


To this day, scientist can no locate the so called gay gene, you know why, it's because it doesn't exist. For whatever reason, we choose who we are attracted to, we choose who we sleep with. If you don't believe me, just ask yourself this, would you choose to sleep with someone who is homeless that lives in a cardboard box? You may say that the answer is no but guess what, some people will sleep with a homeless person who sleeps in a cardboard box.

If you are lactose intolerant would you choose to drink milk and eat cheese? you may say the answer is no but guess what, some people who are lactose intolerant will choose to still indulge in dairy products. Now, if Psychologist can apply the science of the mind to conclude why it is that some people make bad choices, that either they have low self esteem or that they have no concept of the choices that they make due to trauma in childhood etc. why is it that they by pass the mind when it comes to homosexuality to go looking for a gay gene?


For whatever reason weather the reason is warped or well thought out, conscious or subconscious, people choose who they sleep with. Who we sleep with is not something that we are born with and yes, I chose to be straight.

btw: for whatever reason, we make choices everyday... maybe the choice we conclude is out of convience or maybe the choices we make is out of curiosity, or maybe the choices we make is out of a need and maybe the choices we make is out of what we feel we need but are not sure till we try... in this case, who knows.

I've already stated i believe some choose to be gay and some are born gay. Personally, who cares? this thread was interesting for a minute, but i belive we have now gone full cycle back to the original question. I don't have the answers; i just maintain an open mind to the possibilities. As you say, the scientists haven't nailed it down yet. You and a few others should also realize that homosexuality as purely a matter of choice has not been proven either. The fact that you say, science hasn't found the gay gene in order to dismiss a possible biological factor, yet you say with certainty that it is a choice with even less proof, but don't see that contradiction in your thinking, illuminates your dogmatic bias. I know you will now respond that you are not biased, etc., etc., but just take a minute to think about it.

How do you apply biology of the male and female anatomy to to who they males with penis's, and women with vagina's, desire to make these sexual acts happen with, that being other objects of the flesh?

sometimes we confuse things that we like with things that we need.

Is this like.... not having sex before a big football game in the belief that all that sexual energy will be released in physical strength and agility and enhance your performance?

most anything can become unbalanced. sex is ok, but when too much emphasis is placed on it there is a problem.
black people place way to much importance on sex. we need to be about educating ourselves to build a better life for our people.
what is the point to hooking up and making babies when you have no means to provide for them?

education is not only more important than sex it is also more fun. our young people need to be taught that knowledge is king.
knowledge, education that leads to providing a secure place for yourself in this world is more deeply satisfying than any sex.
the main sex organ is, after all, the one between your ears.

these days sex is just another opiate.

I came into the thread late and I didn't go back to read what you said or anyone else said. Your initial post to me, was in response to something I said to someone else, so ask your self that same question you ask me... who cares?

I didn't just say the part about scientist, I said other things as well... any who, in response to what you say about dismissing the possible biological factor, you have already said it yourself, that women have a womb, men and men ejaculate sperm. By nature, the sperm is only good for procreation and so is the womb, why would those biological factors then be used for anything else? That question came to my mind and it was based on what you initially stated about biological factors. Which in turn led me to this question... How do you apply biology of the male and female anatomy to to who they, (males with penis's, and women with vagina's) desire to make these sexual acts happen with, that being other objects of the flesh? Sexual acts meaning sperm that is meant to ejaculate for the purposes of procreation?

You asked who really cares, to be honest with you, I don't care, this is just all theory and conversation for me. No different from folks who come here to pick fuss with people who have a religion that they disagree with (sound familar) Do those people really care about other folks religion that they pick fuss with... I think not.

I know you will now respond that you are not biased, etc., etc., but just take a minute to think about it.

Oh geez, another person who knows what I will say. Come on, to some degree we are all bias, no one is exempt from that, not even yourself. I could point out your bias contributions but I don't desire a one up over you in pointing out who is bias here, it's not about that. You didn't have to respond to anything that was posted by me, but you chose to. Something I said ignited your choice to post to me, when, my post was not to you and you ask the question, who really cares come on, who do you think you are kiddin with the Johnny come lately?
