Like I always say we often look at the "scab" as the problem when we should be looking at what caused it. Homosexuality is a manifestation of a problem, yet there are several degrees to that. I often wonder how "conscious" we would be, if white media could come up with other labels for social diseases? I despise the "male homosexual" more specifically just like the next Brotha, but there are other illnesses we suffer from that practically go un-noticed because media has not labeled it a pressure point.
First of all we'd be less concerned even with the male homosexual if male heterosexuals were doing a better job at nation building and designing the "family and community" curriculum that prevent homosexuality.
I would also ask how "conscious" can any Man be if he cannot relate with his Woman or his child? That actually more so than homosexuality is a problem in our community and in fact, I would go as far as to say that homosexuality would manifest "less frequently" among us if Males understand the power of their roles. But you have Brothas who wear "consciousness" as a badge of honor but can't relate to neither Woman nor child. How is that possible?
Perhaps because we think "Manhood" is all about relationships between Men only. Errr, but isn't that what homosexuality is?? So what is that social illness called when a Man would rather be "out with the boys" than loving on his Wife and raising his family? How about the fact that many so-called "conscious" Males are still chasing Women that have no aspirations for powerful consciousness, and will kick the Queen Goddess to the wayside because she doesn't have a big booty, or an MTV model figure, or straight hair, or whatever the case may be....what is that social disease?
How can anyone be truly conscious if....they are not "conscious" of their own illnesses? Or should we pretend that we're not all swimming within the same societal biles? As far as the spirit world, yes spirits do have a problem with homosexuality when it comes down to reproduction, there are billions of spirits waiting to come to earth and for course homosexuality would be a problem.
However homosexuality is also a form of warfare. If you are powerless the spirits don't want anything to do with you anyway, be as homo as you want to be- enjoy your life. But if you are filled with power, knowledge, consciousness, life giving energy etc., spirits will be at war with you. So I can't imagine what that would be like for someone who is "homosexual" and "conscious" - nothing will go right, everyday is a battlefield, you'd have to wear charms and shake redclay dust mixed with sage everywhere you go just to keep those beings from kicking you butt, your own Ancestors will show up to get some licks in. I'm certain this is happening to a great deal of homosexual Men who have power, and if it's not happening- you don't have anything that they want.
