    Liquid Laundry Soap:

There are variations of this recipe all over the internet I have been doing this one for years.

    Ingredients

20 mule team Borax detergent booster

Arm & Hammer all natural super washing soda

Fels Naptha bar soap you can substitute with pink Zote bar soap or Zote flakes

I used purex crystals for fragrance 1 cup

    1. Grate one bar of soap with cheese grater (fels naptha bar)
    2. Put grated soap in pan with ½ gallon of water and gradually heat, stirring constantly until soap is completely dissolved.
    3. Put 4.5 gallons of really hot tap water in a 5-gallon bucket I use an Ice chest and stir in
    4. 1 ½ cup of borax and 1 ½ cup of Washing Soda until completely dissolved.
    5. Pour soap mixture from pan into 5-gallon bucket. Stir well.
    6. Cover and leave overnight.
The mixture will be a gel on top and sort of watery on the bottom Mix well.

I save milk jugs but any plastic container works.

Use 1/2 to 1 cup per load.

all the ingredients costs about $12 I can make about 40 gallons. It washes just like the major brands because it contains all the same cleaning power. You can even add your favorite essential oil for fragrance. So yes it washes the same or better and it saves money.

Thanks for this, cuz this will save money. Have you tried using castile soap? You know that big white block of soap that people used with rub boards back in the day. Or does it has to be with the soap you have on your list?

    Peace!
