Black Poetry : hodgepodge

[THA HOOKUPMAN]

I'm eliciting sighs and groans of
dripping honey moans
induced words and lyricisms.
Words drop from my mind and out lips and stain my
paper.

Countless thoughts swim in my mind and
finally dump themselves into the
tributary of my pen.
Ocean and Sky cease to be two
separate entities.
They become one and the same.
A sea...a sea of probability and
imagery through the liquidity of verbal
liberty.
I'm an undiscovered genius
Fascinating all who meet me
When all meet me, they bow and surrender..
yeah right...i can dream can't i

I hodgepodge and enjoy basking in the
spoken sun.
words turn a smoked-honey hue when
the words flow from sages to salts, peppers and spices
life is affected and people are endued.
Fertile earth-scape coincides with my soul-scape.
The sea-scape becomes a surrealist vast escape.
We exist because of the precious power of
words.
The sheer potency drives my inner to lunacy and
for a split second I cease to exist in this
dry reality and I am simply...a verbal, spoken and
infinite...hookup......

swim a river
climb a hill
like jill
we all gotta to get up

Like the path of math rhyming give me trouble so live
A double life and face rubble and strife on the street and my crib
When I fail in quote I grab a sailboat and float close to the wind
And then post again for responses it’s just the destiny of most men
To crave for praise,
My rhymes give me authority to live as a minority, majority
Of the time but lose control when abused bold like an unwanted sorority
Juice powers and produce flowers and no excuse towers over the truth
For it’s roof too high, waterproofed like true sky to lie is a goof
