See the dishonesty in the religious guy argument and how he uses the bible to justify the invasion of Iraq. Amazing.

    In the Spirit of Sankofa,

    .......Question, is Hitchens still living?

He died not so long ago. Lung cancer. Dude smoked like a chimney. As an atheist you'd think he'd know that he only has one go at this life.

The Hitch will surely be missed. Quite a brilliant guy, despite our disagreement on the Iraqi war.

Minor correction: he died of esophageal cancer.

Hitchens was a good guy - loved his work and his ability to debate his point with solid evidence

    Peace

Since he's been gone I've been paying a lot more attention to the infidelguy - he has a lot of good material on his website ... I had crossed over to that side for a while. But there is a teacher on his site that proposed that we stop reading the scriptures to our kids as she expressed her disdain for the murders, rapes, incest, sacrifice, racism, maiming, slavery and mental abuse that is graphed throughout the whole bible. I don't let my kids watch rated R movies so why should I let them read a rated X book.

Hitchens is gone and will be missed but wont we all be missed when we are gone? We all got to go so I doubt that it was because of his beliefs that ended his life. It was because of his smoking and his unwillingness to stop. I know many Christians who have died later in life because of what they did to there bodies when they weren't Christians.

    Peace

I think that Dr. Robert D Price will carry the mantle that Hitchens actually carried ... actually I think that Robert Price is a more knowledgeable about the scriptures ... with a fine pick comb.
