    may i
    shake the melody
    frm my pores?
    i
    dance along
    soil as old
    as the earth's
    dance...i
    can hear Able's
    bloodstain'd cry;
    can here
    the fast pace runnin'
    of Cain's feet...
    guilt and satisfaction all
    in one...i hear them...

    may i
    spread my thighs-
    yo lips blowin'
    tragedies and hope into
    my womb?
    Abishag's gon to keep ole'
    King David warm...
    now Athaliah
    kills the seed royal-
    i hear ur
    bloodlust sistah...
    sometimes i
    wanna
    dance Khali-ma's
    dance of destruction and
    break out of
    this box...
    this, this something that i
    can't even name.

    may i
    bury my hopes inside
    alabaster fears studd'ed
    with insecurities?
    claps of thunda,
there's a lion in the house...
    ole sonia sanchez
    tole me that
    we speak
    watusi-while carryin'
    the shattered shoulders
    of our ancestors
    across the pacific...
    specifics say
    we free...
    we beg to differe...somehow
    we in a free prison...
    can't bear the
    sound of
    a scratched soul
    made silent...someone's
    singin' a silent aria...
    ain't no body hearin...but i
    hear.

    may i
    wash tomorrow off
    my heartstrings and
    put on a fresh pair
    of the present?
    too many
    stories
    circulatin...got time
    pregnant with more children
    than she can hold...
so many died and so many live...
so many wait to be born...
    she carry so much...too much...
    whewwwwwwwwwww
    chile....i'm betta
    off being to myself...

    .....its hard to be to
    myself knowin'
that my life is what it is
    because of the songs,
    arias and clothin' of
    the past, present and
    future.

so many things to take into consideration in this life

and then you have the demented version

    good luck on your journey

    sounds like you'll be fine

    just keep it simple

meaning don't overcomplicate what is actually very simple

    peace poet

    much love to you

Learn from the past, but don't live in it, live for today, taking in consideration of today's impact on the future. I like these scribes that make the reader contemplate, poet.

Brotha Rhymebad...check this pa...i'm not as good as you are but here goes...

    i
    dance along
    soil as old
    as the earth's
    dance...i
    can hear Able's
    bloodstain'd cry;
    can here

    keystyled

no secret melodies bein' ripp'd frm pregnant pores/
screams of harmonic labor/spread em' to a neighbor/
simple man tip tappin/feet pattin 'gainst soil/
time stain'd this stompin' place with dark oil/
soil so old-reminiscent of the first breath of time/
cranin' my ears to hear old rhymes/
i turn and catch a young earth in mid-dance
    teasin' my lust-enhanced, eyes in a dead-lock'd glance/
wanna peruse my space/ gather my options and run rashly...
    f*&k grace!/
its all in that body nubile/
in my loins the response is futile/
bathe in cold ice caps wearin antartic clothes hopin
    nobody knows how arous'd i be.../
can't discard, can't hide the pride of the eyes...
can't help it if my erection's clear to see/
let me drink frm well springs of ancient history/
let me...cool my brow, calm my blood
and heed this silent, whispered plea.
    Too much hi-fi, sonic sounds/
aurally too much resounds i'm a prisoner
to ancient factions/ yet free to act THEN reactions/
    battlin contentious reverb/
cause in the space of heart beats
tuned to 1000 echos of runnin' feet/
the hideous death rattle of Abel slain'd
by Cain-his guilt and bitter gall on peverse lips
be the only thing i heard
