Is there any real reason why theology based rap is not used in most traditional christian environments?

Preachdatruth ... Welcome Welcome Welcome ...

That's a good question ... i don't know the answer ... maybe it's too much for most churches?

I've been in quite a few churches that get down though, a stone's throw from rap beats.

I even know a young Brother involved in a Christian Rap Group, and he's been doing it for years.

I don't know how much air time they get, but if their longevity is an indicator, they must get some.

I don't know ... what do you think the reason is?

because they are traditional.. and traditional by its very definition tends to nail methods of delivery down.. but if you sit and think you will realize that hip hop and its charismatic spoken word improvisational delivery is actually derived from the black church..

Do you have any specific artists you are talking about..
