A lot of men complain that women have too high of standards or are too high maintenance... My ex said that my standards were too high for him and all this jazz as to why he broke up with me and says he wants a woman with low standards. So tell me, what is the difference between the two....Thanks

Low standards sounds to me like a woman who doesn't know what she wants in life...And it sounds like he has low-self esteem.

Sometimes it's as simple as a man wanting to live in the pond versus a woman who wants to flow in the river..he doesn't have the drive to swim..and that's ok, he just needs another sittin duck..a woman with high standards is one who values the unseen..a woman who is high maintenance can be healthy if her standards are in check, otherwise, her focus can be too much on what's seen and with unreasonable requirements..kinda like a person drivin a luxury car and has expensive handbags with no savings account...wondering why her man has a budget..for what (smh).
