I'm lookin 4 a hideaway
a place to stay
cuz this place just doesn't feel safe
anymore...

I'm watchin you, admiring your inner light
Currents of passion flowing through me every night
And even the way you look into me
down, into my soul, it really drew me
I can safely say I have never felt this way
before...

I share special moments with you
even in silence, somehow we do
You constantly inspire me to be my best
I know I'm improving greatly, and you are impressed
I can safely say I have never felt his way
before...

I'm lookin for a hideaway
a place to stay
cuz this place just doesn't feel safe
anymore...

Just the other day he told me he was in love with me
I passed it away becuz I know this love can never be
How is it fair to fall so deeply for someone that isn't yours?
Why must we share the key just to look around and find there are no doors?
And I can dangerously say I've never felt this way
before....

I watch you with her and I wonder does she feel
the way my heart is burning, is her love that real?
And if it is, why doesn't she seem to appreciate your gifts
if you are devoted to her, why do you make me feel like this?
I can dangerously say I've never felt this way
before...

I'm lookin for a hideaway
a place to stay
cuz this place just doesn't feel safe
anymore....

I love you far more than you know
but I'm just gonna let it go....
