    Hey Mom

I know you're very sick, and I'm sitting right here
there's a lot inside me, I wanna share

First you need to know, you're my guiding light
and I'm gonna spill out, everything tonight

Yes, I intend to spend, every moment I can
just sitting and smiling...and holding your hand

cause it was something I was never allowed to do
and I know, that you know...I really love you

Today you fell asleep for a hour or two
but I stayed in this chair, I stuck like glue

I'm gonna eat, sleep and live in this chair
    don't worry bout nothing...I ain't going nowhere

I'll make your coffee, bring your food to the bed
and ever so gently...rub your aching head

I'll bathe you and dress you, with loving care
and then I'll return, right back to my chair

I promised myself, and the Gods above
that I'd lavish your heart...with nothing but love

And mom even if, you have to put on an act...
when I lean down to hold you...will you hold me back?

And when my tears fall, on the pillow you lay
    it's cause I'm thankful...for another day

ps...Oh, by the way, I wanna say I love you
but I'm sure I know, that you know I do

Beautiful Song of the heart and mind!:luvv:
So tender, yet very strong. So humble, yet very vunerable.
Its has a melody and lyrics that warms the coldest of hearts.

Thank you for blessing us with your love for Momma!:luvv:

There are no words that I have to say,
or feelings that I could convey,
to express what you're feeling deep down inside,
concerning your mom where your love resides.
So do what you must to give what you've lacked,
and if you need extra strength then I've got your back.

    Love Always in All Ways,

    Your Husband
