I remember
how I felt the
~quaking~ from the
basement of my
soul to the
rafters of
my mind
when his hands
first gripped the
pearlized handles
of my ~door~...

he possessed the key to
my
'knowing'

& let himself in

it was amazing how large
he became inside my
threshold, and
my entire frame
stretched upward
~ outward to
accommodate his
majesty

my foundation
shifted beneath his
weight
and my carpets
plushed, rising to
caress his
feet....

he walked through
the expanse of my
loving~rooms,
bathing
the air
with his scent

shutting out the
noises of confusion
he closed my windows
and settled into the world
inside my gates

quietly, he still
moves around
making beautiful
changes to my original
decor ~

he is the master
of my interior
design...

and I don't mind

because he's home
