    Help!!!

    Mental exhaustion, fatigued, limp
    from overuse.
My mind overlaped about to collapse.
    Subjected to mental abuse.
    Confusion is infusing thoughts
    Decay of unpleasantness has
chiseled my joy, peace and happiness.
Massive mess of disobedience infest me.
I've done my best to invest love and time
    into my nest.
My protesting refusal to digest the sour reality
of my child's ability to ignore and defy my authority.
Causes disstress in my heart, my mind under arrest,
shackled by constant assessment of my past,
    trying to trackdown my error
Is this some kind of test?
    I confess
I'm not the best, but took on motherhood
    with zest.
My head rattles from the battle
    of unanswered
    WHAT
    HOW
    WHY
    WHERE
    WILL and WHEN
    questions repeatedly asked
    The energy drains me.
    I'm almost lifeless.
The tic toc of the clock,
    sounds to the 25th power.
    Alerting time is running out.
    My world is closing in.
    I'm losing my child.
    Desperately
    I HOLLER,
    (((((HELP!!!)))))

    "I'm losing my child. "

i hope these are just words in a poem and not reality. the loss of a child is something that no parent should have to go through. keep the faith, my sistah.

    remember...
    the past is the past
    you can't change it
you can't beat yourself up, over it
    life continues

    keep yo' head up.

    peace&manyblessings.

    Thank you N2:)

    Baller
Thank you for your encourgement. My son thinks being an adult is just an age. I try to explain to him it's not only an age, but a behavior which he isn't displaying. I love him with all my heart and I have faith in him. He's a bright young man with an important future. I refuse to give up on him. If I did, I'd be giving up on me. Coco

When things are "out of your hands," put it in God's. He can see what you and your son can't. He has the ability to make order out of chaos.

    thanks for the clarification...

my mind was in a different place...now i can relate. i have three sons, two of which grew up in south central. everyday, you pray that they're returned safe...that they don't stray...that they'll remember the things taught. i was fortunate. my sons stayed the course. but, too many, did i see falling by the way. all i can say is, make sure he knows he's loved...that you will always be there for him...and that there is a better way.

hold yo head up, my sistah.
    life is still good.

    peace.
