    Shu Nefer Sheqhem sek

Hepi the Goddess of the Nile. When she floods her banks she brings fertility to the land.

Sirius or Sopdet personified what is known as the Dog Star. Sopdet was the most important star to our ancestors in Khemet. The rising of Sopdet heralded the inundation of the Nile(Hapi) delta region of Khemet and it is for this reason she is associated with fertility.

The heliacal rising of Sopdet constitutes the beginning of Khemetian New year or Uap Rnpt, in the month of July. Sopdet was known to be a goddess of the waters, and as such one of her roles was to ritually bath the King of Queen, in the after life, or Am Duat. Incidentally the process of embalming lasted 70 days, the same amount of time Sopdet is "hidden" from the sky, before it's rising. She is a goddess of fertility to both the living and THE DEAD.

Sopdet is the goddess that provides the yearly sustenance for the Pharaoh and serves as his guide in the Am Duat, prompting him to fly and join the Gods in the Sky.

The concept of as above so below is intimately connected with the Khemetic New Year and Sopdet. With the flooding of the nile delta, there is also a flooding of conciousness for the initiate.

An abundance of light emanating from Sopdet floods the Pineal gland. The Pineal gland and the Nile delta are both pyramidal forms, and Sopdet plays a prominent role in terms of the nourishment of both "entities".

Currently we are in the Month of the Khemetic New Year. So brace yourselves :rain:

    The Flood of "Hap/Hapi"

The Deities Hap/Hapi was associated with the Nile and also has a dual aspect in nature. Flowing through southern Kmt, Hap is referred to as "Hap Reset" (Hap of the south). Hap flowing through Northern Kmt is referred to as "Hap Meht" (Hap of the North).

What is more interesting is that the term for water in Kmt is known as "Mu". If you combine "Mu" + "Hap Meht"(Mu Hap Meht), you get the meaning, "waters of the northern Nile". The people of Kmt depended heavily on the river to survive and live a life of peace. Each year during the agricultural season, the flooding of the river was celebrated and could be likened as somewhat of a "saviour" or "comforter" to the people. Even today this celebration is carried on and is known as "the night of the drop". It is said that a divine teardrop falls from the "Eye of Ra"(the star Auset-Sapadet/Sirius), causing the Nile(Hap) to swell(flood) each year.

For thousands of years this title (Mu Hap Meht) was used by the people of Kmt. However, it has been noted by some scholars that this title was corrupted into "Muhammed" by the whites and their offspring.

    SHEM HOTEPU, My Brother:

This is all wise, right and exact info. The Kemau language system, coupled with the more antiquitous Cuneiform from Sumeria, had been the precursor and progenitor for the "Semitic" family of languages.

The correlations and derivations are numerous, from spiritual things like "Prophet", "Shiekh" etc., to things on a mundane level such as "man and woman".

There is very little of the so-called Semitic legacy, from language to customs, that does not come from some other more ancient culture.

This, among other things, shows us that we should seek out the source of these things, instead of settling for an earlier, less-potent, and even perverted version of them.

    The Truth Is Out There.

That's fascinating because Jesus referred to The Comforter as a river of living water. Would that be Hap Mu Ankh or maybe Khnumu Ankh

    HOTEPET SHEQHETI:

HAP/HAPI and KHNUMU are not only 2 different deities, but also 2 different grammatical concepts.

HAP/HAPI represents Rejuvenation, while KHNUMU represents Creation. The 2 are of course intertwined and interrelated, but but also quite distinct, just as the thumb and pinky are the same, being digits on your hand, but still quite different, in the functions that they serve.

Also noteworthy, in regards to your statement, is the fact that many Islamic denominations view Muhammad as the "Comforter" that Jesus spoke of.

Nevertheless, it is of the utmost importance to remember, that it is the divine meanings behind these names that are far more important that any historical person that may (or may NOT) have carried those titles, from Adam on down to Muhammad.

Unfortunately, the Mantra or Heqat (Kemetic word for "word of power") behind these names are not being taught by Orthodox versions of these faiths. It is only the Esoteric doctrines that know and teach them (Qabalah > Judaism; Sufi > Islam; Gnosticism > Christianity).

I'd like to respond to all of this but I'm not sure of the direction Brutha Sek intended this thread to go. Don't want to go too far off into Islam and everybody unless it is pertinent to his purpose.

Would you say then that Khnumu is the river at rest in its creative state while Hap/Hapi is the river when it rises to rejuvenate the land?
