Black Poetry : health and wealth...

[j'hiah]

you can have millions
like crooks who cash out
but lose trust..
and when you lose trust your treasures also rust
and when your treasures rust
so do your pleasures...
and when your pleasures are no longer gratifying
lying is no longer satisfying..

and then your health fades.....

for l knew an affluent and tactical CEO of a once successful company who told me of building a house
for his children and his spouse..
he had a reputation of manipulating those of lesser education..

now he can barely speak; his brain tumor prevented his peak...

how different is he from peeps who have high blood pressure
and ruin their bodies with
salts and fats and do not eat right, sleep right and do not exercise

open your eyes the one who has life strength and health
and full of wealth are those who fear God and know themselves...

just a thought.
