Sometimes when we pray we don't always get an
answer right away
we humble ourselves before out Father in heaven
confess and repent for our sins
and pray for healing of torn and broken relationships
for some time I prayed for God to lay His hands on
my mother and to heal her from any past/present bondages
I also prayed the same for myself
I didn't think that HE would
time passed and the spirit of doubt
entered my house
But on my mom's day of birth
March 25th, 2002
I again made another attempt at
New Beginnings and Second Chances
and HE did just what HE said...
God brought us together on her 53rd birthday!! I made her candles (pink to match her decorum) decorated a box with afrikan fabric and raffia and took it to her job with a card.
For those close to me...you may recall my last visit to her job...
she told me to stay out of her business and stay out of her life
When I walked into the office, she was in the middle of a call
I waited patiently but nervously. She was her happy bubbly self
talking to a client on the phone.
When she hung up, she got up out of her seat and embraced me in a loving hug. While equally returning the love I told her I missed her.
Her rebuddle: "No you didn't cause if you did you would've called"
Then she laughed and I smiled!!
We left together and went to her new place, picked up my 5 year old nephew whom I haven't seen in months and we had dinner together.
I helped her straighten her place and she took me home.
After seeing my new place she told me I was doing well and she gave me her phone number.
She also wants me to make her some pillows!!!!!
So, for all those non believers...God does answer prayers. He may not answer when WE WANT but HE's ALWAYS on time!!!
