He
asked
me
to
write

to
write a poem
for him

I’d
love
to
oblige

but…

he
knows
writer’s block has
a grip on my pen obstructing
a sweet release of the poetic soul in me

still…

he
asked
me
to
write

to
write a poem
for him

the
special person
he is inspires a desire
to dig-down-deep-down where the
richest ink lies in me and dip in to create images
on pages of paper
for him
of love, of peace
and war no more, to paint
expressions
(exclusively)
for him
of
rippling waters
parting through mountains and
trees and breezes blowing
nature’s fragrances
(freely)
in
valleys
l
o
w
where
winding roads
seem to go and go and go…
pass
an old oak tree
where I envision him
seated beneath shaded from the Mississippi sun
with pad and pen in hand writing poetry
to his delight

of
Ivory stars
In the midst of midnight
and the beauty of dawn’s early light
make him speak…

life is good

he
asked
me
to
write

to write a poem
for him

to
compose
words that click together
like puzzle pieces to form pictures of
tranquil seashores and mesmerizing skylines

he
asked
me
to
write

to write a poem
for him

so
I
did

wow!! i didn't know you felt that way about the poetofages :D
j/k..

really, the inspiration one gives the pen is rare and a beautiful result, as this poem clarifies.

Sir. Richness,
Sometimes when we least expect it, inspiration breaks the dam
and there comes the flow. I’m pleased you enjoyed it!

Mr. So'ja Man,
Yes, a special person, but no clues, just words used to express thoughts at a moment passing.

J’hiah,
You have inspirited my pen with your craft on many occasion.
Thanks for coming through… I missed that big grin of yours:D

Gentlemen, I appreciate your time and comments, BIGTIME!:)
