Hate to say it, but you are right. This should be a fundamental lesson taught by a HBCU. Freshmen Class.

    Peace,

This is a baby step in the right direction. At least some are admitting they got played. Honestly they should have saw this coming and skipped that ish in the first place. Perhaps this will be a learning experience and people won't fall for this nonsense in the future. I expect more from people who are supposed to be educated.

    Peace

Agreed. And, the pic with them all grinning from ear to ear while they are being screwed should be unforgettable.

seems like everything but bucking-up and pumping your fist in the air is considered "selling out". If that's the case, "selling-out" is the thing to do. There are so many more layers to things than yes/no, black/white, good/bad. #recognizethat. The game is Chess, not Checkers.

Okay then, get all the Black planners outta that Trump office and send them back to things as they have been. Get Ben Carson to resign his Trump office and the myriad of Black leaders who need funding and open doors to resources and power to build, to ignore it. Because what has been is good enough? No need to organize and use government departments to get things moving in strength nationally? Just keep doing the same things that have always been done and continue to get what… those inner cities built up and the kids having great schools, choices and opportunities even for adults? Will that happen when it hasn't so far from anywhere else? Right now there is an offer of an engine of a united force of Black experts and skills moving everything forward with a united effort of government specialists to be involved with them for the same cause too.

The head of that "government of specialists" - Donald Trump - is a known white supremacist who: 1) has a track record of discriminating against black people; 2) chose as his right hand man another known white supremacist - Steve Bannon; 3) chose as his chief law enforcement officer - attorney general - a white supremacist who was so racist even fellow racist republican senators rejected him for a federal judgeship; 4) Retweets from known white supremacist twitter accounts; 6) screwed numerous vendors, suppliers and contractors out of money; 7) got his own lawyers to the point where THEY refused to talk one on one with him because of his constant lying.

Taking all of that into account, when he talks about things he wants to do for black people in his speeches, on a scale of 0 to 10, how trustworthy do you find him to be on this issue, with 0 being not at all trustworthy and 10 being very trustworthy?

Having said that, collectively we have an annual disposable income of $1.2 TRILLION. No self respecting people with that kind of loot would go begging anybody for anything, let alone their bitter enemy and oppressor.

We have an abundance of examples of what we're capable of doing based on what's we've already accomplished, with UNIA and Black Wall Street being but two examples, and they did what they did under conditions that were much worse for black people.

For years Dr Claud Anderson has admonished black people to get your economics in order by supporting black businesses (which itself is an economic engine for creating jobs in the hood), because without money you can't do anything. Pool the money from your economic endeavors, take a portion of it and buy you some politicians. Those you can't buy, you rent. Once you own enough politicians, you control city hall. Once you control city hall, you control the police department, the court system, the school system and from there you get control of your entertainment - your film and recording industry, your artists, your writers, etc. Do all of this while being unapologetically pro black.

If we continue this EXCLUSIVE focus on looking to white people to do for us what we refuse to do for ourselves, we'll continue to get the same thing we're getting now.

So, you are a Separatist living in a Global world. Why reinvent the wheel? Use what is available for speed, convenience for the Black community and wisdom. Who wants to wait when we see what has been achieved next to what still needs to be achieved. Not do for us, do with us . Does anyone wait till they have saved up to buy a nice house, cash? Or do we go get a 30 year loan to finance the building of our house?! It is the latter, because it's practical. Who waits to go see if the President of the loan company is White or Black before getting the funds to build or buy?

President Trump has never been a Member of the KKK, like democrat Robert Byrd. The white supremacists vote just like everyone else. That doesn't make Trump a card carrying member. And his actions since President elect and two days ago demonstrate he wants to open the doors to Black leaders, to work with them for what they are planning. That includes an entire new ever before appointed Ben Carson to be responsible for reconstruction in ways for Black communities in inner-cities, example being Chicago, Baltimore, Boston etc. That is a specific assignment that the President has given him.

I'm sorry, did you suppose anyone can buy out the court system, a police department. You know what happens" The dirty cops get found out. Do you know why the right voted for Trump over 16 other decent republicans running for President? Because half the nation was sick of the sliding politicians even sleepy republicans. They wanted somebody to take care of national business, financially, the National Security and go to war with ISIS etc., somebody who would recognize ISIS and their ilk is at at an official war with us. Also we needed somebody who would build the dilapidated infrastructure of our nation. So we're staying home for a while instead of building for other nations, letting ours get into bad conditions. Congress cannot afford it all, so he said he is going to private sectors and public for donations. He will get them. He is already bringing manufacturing back, which are jobs that employ Black workers also --IBM, Caltrain, Amazon, Ford, the coal industry, Walmart, Apple, for a few.

Be proBlack and clever to work within the system as well. Avoiding White avenues because it is white is putting white as supreme
importance before Black. Pro Black is taking all paths while not subjecting the people and youth to violence. Especially when there is opportunity without violence.

Given his track record, when he talks about things he wants to do for black people in his speeches, on a scale of 0 to 10, how trustworthy do you find him to be on this issue, with 0 being not at all trustworthy and 10 being very trustworthy?
