Have you seen Popups - Adware on destee ?

Peace and Blessings Family,

A few folk have told me that they are coming to the site, and being bombarded with adware or spyware or something like that. They are telling me it says something like ... a virus has been detected, click here to clean it.

If you've experienced this on destee, please post and let me know.

We don't (intentionally) have any of that, and i'm not able to duplicate it ... so i need your help.

Just let me know if you've seen it too.

yes, when I first tried to sign on after wrk yesterday.. thought I may have clicked something...

it wants to run add-ons and then it has a box that pops up and says ... "this program is safe and free of addwere.. spyware...

I also been getting "loan offers" in my personal e-mail asking me if I want to apply for: It asks for personal information... they usually route to my bulk box, but these are in my inbox..... I have been reporting them as spam:

I WORK IN A FINANCIAL SETTING.... PLEASE DON'T EMAIL YOUR INFORMATION TO ANYONE.. THIS IS HOW YOUR IDENTITY GETS STOLEN... ALL LOANS SHOULD BE APPLIED FOR ON AN OFFICIAL WEBSITE (WATCH THE BROWSER ADDRESS MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT CHANGE) .. I'VE SEEN PEOPLE LOSE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! AND IF YOU GIVE THE INFORMATION WEATHER THE OFFER IS LEGIT OR NOT.... BY GIVING YOUR INFO YOU HAVE INITIATED THE FRAUD!
WHEN THIS HAPPENS BANKS ARE UNABLE TO RECOVER THE MONEY.........

This also happen to me yesterday as well, when I tried to log into my name it took me to the adware and started running on it's own...and when it finish it had found critiral objects and said: "click to remove harmful objects" ...I shut the whole computer down and rebooted.

It also happen to another member, same way.

IT AIN'T DESTEE.COM!!

it don't much matter where you go; once that stuff gets into your puter it'll pop up everywhere. (in fact, just today i was/am looking over a brother's puter that is acting up (for some reason, too many of his device drivers have "disappeared"). stepped into my puter protection thread to grab a couple things and pop-ups happening all over!)

those people that are noticing this behavior have a very dirty machine. run, do not walk to your favorite spyware blocker and removal agents, update them and run them!! sp

again, IT IS NOT DESTEE.COM!!

oh, and do folks have a number of different toolbars?
and don't use any of those offered tools; those offers are the results of an already existing infection!!

i do wish folks could get away from windows - just like anything that those creatures say is something that is needed, required, stylish and/or cool, it's a crock ... but nobody seems to want to listen to "anybody" that suggests that this sys..... [oops, must terminate rant! scuse.]

(i still say that the best thing that could happen would be for the hardware supporting destee.com to be brought "in-house" - [oh gosh - slipped off topic again; sorry ... welll ... er ... {if you'd care to take it that way, i would dearly love to discuss it!!! <grin>}])
