Jails / Prisons : Have you ever waited on a man in jail/prison?

I just like to know would you wait on your man if he goes to jail/prison. I know of a woman who husband was in prison for ten years just got out last year. And they seem to be doing fine. In these struggling times would you leave/stay with your man if he is serving a short sentence. Give me your take on this ladies if you will!

would if we were together before he went to jail. Yes..thats a no brainer for me.

There are a lot of things that would come into play in order for me to make such a decision. The first and foremost, what he did to cause his imprisonment. If its something not so serious, such as excessive traffic tickets or something that didn’t hurt anyone, probably so. But if he, robbed, sold drugs or anything like that… I wouldn’t.

I'm with SiS Coco....depends on many factors. Those mentioned as well as the state of our relationship...heck....he may have robbed a bank trying pay the bills or something like that and our stuff was tight prior to that...YES I'd wait..or so I'd like to think....it would probably also depend on age, who else involve...ie children....what he went to jail for...most important tho I think is the state of the relationship prior to incarceration. Heck...we may have just separated and tho that would be messed up if he went nuts cause over missing this honey thinking he could get it somewhere else or something..then....i'd might feel real bad..BUT......he might be on his own stressing his mama and sister to put money on his books and call his homies to come see him and what not..

btw....No....have had no occasion to do so....
