Africa : Have you been to Africa? Do you care?

I personnaly think we as a community need to listen to the Africans who post on this web sight. They have a first hand knowledge of whats going on over there and know what we can do to help. We can speculate all we want but if we arent there we really dont have a clue what is happening.

I've never been to Africa, but I have been out of the states in Jamaica and Central America. Going to these countries and talking to the people gave me a wider view of the world that I don't get from watching the news.

I went to Oshogbo one time. It was a profound experience. It's so different there. The bush country is ruggedly beautiful! I would like to visit again if I could find the time.
