Our President is an politian. As proud as I am of living history in the making and being a part of that . He is still just a man. He came into a mess that took over 25 years to create. And we want instant success ??

He is not an civil rights leader. He is suppose to represent all people not just blacks. He is still an politcan meaning that he was succesful at THIER game. And actually I predict that he will be used as a scape goat. I already see signs of public media lynching.

Since when they ask a President about Hip hop music shows and the behavior of an black artist ??

The health care issues needs to be address. He has help with blacks and their college education,. The new grants helped out a lot. I have two going to college in January. So I thank God.

I don't think he will help with too many social issues that exclusively to us. But I do think him walking black , is to our advantage. Make no mistake , if he acts like he is helping us too much. WATCH OUT !!! They will created a stink real or otherwise and just how he got in, He will get out.

And I don't think it's fair to even ask at this point. He's not been in office a year! Folks re-elected Bush even after it was clear he was screwing the country up.

    What Promises?

“The community’s concern with the election and appointment of Black political figures helps it to maintain false hopes that their attainment of office will significantly resolve its problems. The activities of Black politicians, given the current inadequacy of social organization and economic resources, harmfully distract the Black community’s attention from recognizing and eradicating the true causes of its problems and the remediation of its powerlessness. ”

My point is with all the Obama fans who talk about how much they don't want white poeple here and how much they hate white folks were concerned about thier white freinds by stating the above statements in support of Obama!
    Interesting!!!

This was just a chess move that's all
