Kiss orange glow of day's end
taste sweet tangerine sun, ponder me
I am citrus wine & sweet brew
crushed berries in your tempered glass
open your precious gems
view the night sky
find my trail of light
star lit stairs to my heart
enter & stay...

Will your arms remain folded resolutely
Across dark expanse of your manly chest
like a net over many waters?
I am a mermaid struggling
Against your barriers
Free me

Free us...

Above the glassy roof,
are rainbows
Songs of colors yet to be sung
When will we know harmony again?
exchange daisies, share thoughts?
Look, the moon weeps her beauty
onto your face
I say my grace
A prayer for you & me

The sun greets the horizon with new
look for me on the shore
my basket filled with the sweetest
sunny lemon drops
come,

harvest the day...
