    how come him
    could easily hem
    we in with a Hymn
    sung bout black life
    bout dark pain
    n darker stain
    dance n round we
    round bout sundown

    whose words infuse
    fan n first time reader
    poet laureate n rapper
    n how come we
    don't hem him in
    with a Hymn
    sung bout life

Thanks for bringing this back Sister Bluewater. This was eloquently posed, and quite a tribute as well.

Dropping flows like silver rain to saturate the mind's remains of our history and remind us of the great Hughes. Indeed you honor his legacy with this rhythmic piece. Rhyme and Rain ON!
