Makeda, it's your day ...but it's my day too,
12 years ago today...is when I had you.

The greatest moment, was when I gave BIRTH
I huffed and puffed ...and brought you to EARTH

Both the joy and pain that came to my face,
cause I knew in time ...you'd find your own space.

Your body is now shaped like a Royal young lady,
but don't get confused, cause you're still a baby.

Everytime I look at you, my heart take a big smile,
today we're just gonna enjoy you awhile.​

too soon to let go into this cold and crazy world.
If I had my way before you leave the door,
I'd turn back your years to ages three and four.
Then I could start all over and watch you laugh and play,
but now each birthday takes you just a little away.
